Arrive at Blaise Diagne International Airport, where our representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to your hotel in Dakar. (Clients must inform us of their arrival time at least 7 days in advance.)
After breakfast, enjoy a guided city tour of Dakar, including the Renaissance Monument and markets. Then take a ferry to Gorée Island for a visit to the House of Slaves and colonial heritage sites. Return to Dakar in the evening.
Morning departure to Lake Retba (Lac Rose) to witness salt harvesting and a 4x4 ride on sand dunes. Continue to Bandia Reserve for an afternoon safari to spot giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and more.
Visit the twin villages of Joal and Fadiouth. Walk across a wooden bridge to explore the island made of seashells, its unique cemetery, and granaries on stilts. Enjoy fresh seafood by the coast.
Depart to the Sine-Saloum Delta, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Take a boat excursion through mangroves, spot birds and marine life, and visit traditional Serer villages.
Participate in local activities: millet pounding, artisanal weaving, or traditional fishing. Learn about Serer spiritual beliefs and enjoy a storytelling evening by the fire.
Drive back to Dakar. Stop for artisan shopping at Soumbédioune craft market. Enjoy a farewell dinner with live music in a local restaurant.
